Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adults. Adjunctive therapy in partial seizures with or without secondary generalization.

150-600 mg/day in 2 or 3 divided doses. Epilepsy Initially 150 mg/day, may be increased to 300 mg/day after 1 week. Max: 600 mg/day after an additional week. GAD Dose range: 150-600 mg/day as 2 or 3 divided doses. Initially 150 mg/day, may be increased to 300 mg/day after 1 week. Following an additional week, may be increased to 450 mg/day. Max: 600 mg/day after an additional week. Discontinuation: Gradually with draw over a min of 1 week.

May be taken with or without food.
