Usual Adult Dose: Orally, 10-40 mg once daily at bedtime. Adjust dose according to patient's response at intervals of not less than 4 weeks to a maximum dose of 80 mg daily. Dosage in Renal and Hepatic Impairment: Orally, 10 mg once daily. Treatment of Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia in Pediatric Patients Children 8-13 years old: Orally, 20 mg once daily. Adolescents 14-18 years old: Orally, 40 mg once daily.
