10mg Film-Coated Tablet
Indication*
Hypertension: Treatment of hypertension. Stable coronary artery disease: Reduction of risk of cardiac events in patients with a history of myocardial infraction and/or revascularisation. 5 mg: Heart failure: Treatment of symptomatic heart failure.
Directions for Use*
HTN Intially 5 mg once daily, ,may be increased to 10 mg once daily after 1 mth. Renovascular HTN, salt &/ or vol depletion, cardiac decompensation or severe HTN Initially 2.5 mg, may be increased to 10 mg once daily after 1 mth. Elderly Initially 2.5 mg, may be increased to 5 mg after 1 mth then to 10 mg if necessary. Symptomatic heart failure Initially 2.5 mg, may be increased to 5mg once daily after 2 week. Stable CAD Initially 5 mg once daily for 2 week, then increased to 10 mg once daily. Elderly 2.5 mg once daily for 1 week, then 5 mg once daily the following week, may be increased up to 10 mg once daily. CrCI>60 mL/min 5 mg daily, >30 to <60 mL/min 2.5 mg daily, >15 mL?min 2.5 mg every other day, <15 mL/min (haemodialysed patients) 2.5 mg on dialysis day.
Administration*
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Preferably taken in the morning before meal.
