Uncomplicated cystitis, Acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis, Complicated urinary tract infections, Prostatitis, Enteric infections including typhoid fever and shigellosis.

200 mg to 400 mg every 12 hour. The dose and duration of treatment are based on the type and severity of infection being treated.
