Indication*

Duodenal & gastric ulcer. Treatment/prophylaxis of reflux oesophagitis. Eradiction of H. pylori concurrently given with appropriate antibiotic therapy for the treatment of H pylori ulcers. NSAID-associated benign gastric & duodenal ulcers in patients requiring continued NSAID treatment. Prophylaxis of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers & duodenal ulcers. GERD. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Directions for Use*

Duodenal ulcer 30mg once daily for 2 week. Gastric ulcer, reflux oesophagitis, NSAID associated benign gastric & duodenal ulcers in patients requiring continued NSAID treatment 30mg once daily for 4 week. Prophylaxis of reflux oesophagitis 15mg once daily, may be increased up to 30mg daily. Eradication of H.pylori 30mg lansoprazole bid for 7 days + clarithromycin 250-500 mg bid + amoxicillin 1 g daily or 30 mg lansoprazole + clarithromycin 250 mg bid + metronidazole 400-500 mg bid. NSAID associated gastric & duodenal ulcers in patients at risk (> 65 year or history of gastric or duodenal ulcer) requiring prolonged NSAID treatment 15 mg once daily, may increase to 30 mg once daily. Symptomatic GERD 15 or 30 mg daily. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Initially 60 mg once daily. Dose should be individually adjusted & continued treatment as long as necessary. Elderly Max: 30mg once daily.
