Indication*
Treatment of CAD: Symptomatic treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris in CAD adult with normal sinus rhythm & heart rate >70 bpm. Indicated in adult unable to tolerate or with a CI to the use of b-blockers; or in combinaton with b-blockers in patients inadequately controlled with an optimal b-blocker dose. Treatment of chronic heart failure: Chronic heart failure NYHA class II-IV with systolic dysfunction in adults with sinus rhythm & whose heart rate is >75 bpm in combination with standard therapy including b-blocker therapy or when b-blocker is contraindicated or not tolerated.
Directions for Use*
5mg bid. After 3-4 week, increase to 7.5 mg bid. Elderly 2.5 mg morning & evening.
Administration*
Should be taken with food: Take during meals. Avoid excessive consumption of grapefruit juice.
