OA 200 mg daily as single or in 2 divided doses. May be increased to 200 mg bid, if necessary. RA 100-200 mg bid. Ankylosing spondylitis Initially 200 mg daily as single or in 2 divided doses. May be increased to 400 mg daily after 6 week. Pain & dysmenorrhea Initially 400 mg followed by 200 mg on the 1st day thereafter, 200 mg bid. Adjunct therapy to reduce adenomatous colorectal polyps in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) 400 mg bid.

May be taken with or without food: Higher doses (eg, 400 mg bid) should be taken with meals to improve absorption. For children with difficulty on swallowing cap, the contents of the cap may be added to applesauce. Empty the contents of the entire cap onto a level tsp of cool or room temp applesauce & ingest immediately with water.
