Indication*
Management of signs & symptoms of OA,RA, juvenile RA (in patients >2 year) & ankylosing spondylitis. Management of acute pain in adults & in primary dysmenorrhea.
Directions for Use*
OA 200 mg once daily or in 2 divided doses. May be increased to 200 mg bid in patient with insufficient symptomatic relief. RA 200 mg bid in 2 divided doses. May be increased to 200 mg bid if needed. Juvenile RA Patient >2 year weighing >25 kg 100 mg bid, >10-<25 kg 50 mg bid. Ankylosing spondyitis 200 mg once daily or in 2 divided doses, may be increased to 400 mg once daily or in 2 divided doses in patients with insufficient symptomatic relief. Acute pain & primary dysmenorrhea Initially 400 mg followed by an additional 200 mg if needed in the 1st day. Subsequently, 200 mg bid as needed. Moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class B) Reduce dose by 50%.
Administration*
May be taken with or without food: Dose for OA/RA may be given with or without meals, but doses for FAP must be given with meals.
