Indication*
Treatment of infections of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary tract. Indicated also for otic, bone , skin and soft tissues, including pencillinase producing Staphylococcus aureus infections.
Directions for Use*
To make a 10 mL reconstituted suspension, loosen the powder by shaking and slowly add 8 mL of water. Shake well until the content is evenly suspended. The reconstituted suspension is stable for 7 days at temperatures not exceeding 30C and 14 days under refrigeration (2-8C).
Administration*
Usual pediatric dose: Oral 6.25 to 50 mg per kg of body weight every six hours. For skin and soft tissue infections, and streptococcal pharyngitis: Oral: 12.5 to 50 mg per kg of body weight every twelve hours. Or as prescribed by the physician.
