Indication*
Used in the management of hypertension, angina pectoris and heart failure.
Directions for Use*
HTN Initially 12.5 mg once daily, increased after 2 days to 25 mg once daily. Alternatively, an initial dose of 6.25 mg bid, increased after 1-2 week to 12.5 mg once daily. May be further increased at intervals of at least 2 week to 50 mg once daily or n divided doses. Elderly 12.5 mg once daily. Angina pectoris Initially 12.5 mg bid, increased after 2 days to 25 mg bid. heart failure 3.125 mg bid for 2 week, may be increased to 6.25 mg bid. Patient weighing >85 kg Max: 50 mg bid, <85 kg Max: 25 mg bid.
