Indication*

Carbocistine is used as relief of cough associated with excessive & tenacious sputum or phlegm as in acute & chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), otitis media with effusion & glue ear.

Directions for Use*

Adults and Children over 12 years: For oral use, the usual dose is 500 mg of Carbocisteine three times daily. The dose may be adjusted according to age and symptoms, or as recommended by a doctor.

Administration*

Should be taken with food.
