Indication*
Hypertension: As monotherapy or as component of a multiple drug regimen in the stepped care approach. Heart Failure: Treatment of chronic heart failure with reduction of systolic ventricular function, in combination with diuretics and when appropriate, digitalis and beta-blockers. Left Ventricular Dysfunction After Myocardial Infarction to improve survival following myocardial infraction in clinically stable patients with left ventricular dysfunction manifested as an ejection fraction <40% and to reduce the incidence of overt heart failure and subsequent hospitalizations for congestive heart failure in these patients. Diabetic Nephropathy treatment of macroproteinuric diabetic nephropathy in patients with Type 1 diabetes.
Directions for Use*
CrCI (mL/min) 21-40 Initially, 25mg daily. Max: 100mg daily.
Administration*
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
