Indication*

For treatment of hypertension and for prophylaxis of angina.

Directions for Use*

Initial dose of 5mg once a day for the cases of essential hypertension, with a maximum dose of 10mg once daily. The recommended dose for chronic stable angina and vasospastic angina is 5-10mg once daily. Amlodipine can be co-prescribed with thiazide diuretics, beta-blockers and ACE-inhibitors.
