Indication*
Adjunct to diet & exercise to improve glycemic control in type 2 DM. Monotherapy or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents or with insulin.

Directions for Use*
500 mg or 850 mg once a day. Metformin dose may be increased by 500 mg after approximately one week and by 500 mg every week thereafter until adequate glycemic control is achieved.
Administration*
Should be taken with food. Glumet-XR Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
