Cetirizine hydrochloride is used as a symptomatic relief of allergic conditions including rhinitis and chronic urticaria.

Directions for Use*
2-5 years old: Initial dose is .5 mL (1/2 teaspoon) once daily. This may be increased to a maximum dose of 5 mL per day, given as 1 teaspoonful syrup given every 12 hours.
