For the treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.

Directions for Use*
Usual Adult Dose: 250 mg to 500 mg every 8 hours or 500 mg every 12 hours, depending on the type and severity of infection. Maximum Dose: 6 g/day in divided doses. An adult dose of 3 g twice daily is recommended in appropriate cases for the treatment of severe or recurrent purulent respiratory tract infection.
Administration*
May be taken with or without food. May be taken with meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
